Island Life

This weekend we were invited to join Sami and her family at her husbands families camp on Friendship Long Island. Sami and her boys spend tons of time on the island, it looks like a blast so we were excited to go when invited. Plus I haven't spent time with Sami in a long time. When I got to Sami's in the morning she told me Scott was going to drive one boat with all the kids which would leave us with the skiff, which she has never driven. She did great! Docked it like a champ. It was pretty comical when she tried to pick Scott up in his boat when we were back. 

On the Island we sea glassed, something people who's lives revolve around the ocean love to do.  We came home with quite a few treasures. We laid on the beach soaking the suns beautiful rays while the kids searched for crabs.  It was so relaxing and peaceful out there. The sound of the ocean crashing on the shore was almost enough to put me to sleep. It probably would have if it wasn't for having to keep one eye open due to littles dropping sand, crabs and everything else on us running away screeching and laughing.

Ahh what a day. The girls were so tired when got home. They were at KK'a birthday sleepover the night before. They are still tired!
