Make A Wish walk

Sami decided to make a team for Rocklands annual Make A Wish Foundation Walk. We were the Dream Team. We were there supporting Children's cancer of course with Gare Bear in our hearts. We raised money through pledges, and a bake sale and bottle drive. In all we raised just over $2,500 One night Devan started making support ribbons for Children's cancer awareness! I quickly bought her the correct color ribbon... She was using pink polka dots. Devan raised $100.00 way to go. I love that she thought of a way to support children's cancer awareness all on her own. Ry helped sell and make the ribbons. The entire Rockland walk raised $14,000 :) enough to grant at least two wishes. A lot of people put in effort and time into this but it is all because if Sami that it happened. As if having a son going through chemo isn't enough. She was inspired by watching kids and babies go through their experiences with cancer. They deserve so much more then a wish. Being done with chemo, hospitals, surgeries and everyday struggles they face is the real wish. Our kids understand all to well what children with cancer go through. Seeing Garrett makes them humble and appreciate their health. We couldn't be any prouder of them . Thanks to everyone that contributed one way or another!
