This morning

P,rade this morning for Warren Day. Girlies are going to their first ever birthday party sleep over tonight. :) Not worried a bit they love seeing their friends and are in great hands. Thank goodness the weekend is here! Three more (obnoxiously long) work days before I get a vacation! Whoot. July 3rd-the 8th off :) July 4th is one of my all time favorite holidays. Nothing materialistic just new memories, tradition, familiarity and patriotic fun! I am hoping to get a run in today while my little ladies are at the party. LOVE them but this new I must run two miles crap is getting old. I need to run on my own for once ;) Both girls want to participate in the Color Run in September. I told them they could do it if they could run two miles by then. We are up to a mile each and they get runners stitch. I guess they think I am some kind of super woman who was blessed with the ability to run effortlessly without runners stitch because my advice is not taken... they stare back at me like, its not working even though I but 100% (10%) in to what you just said. LOVE YOU GIRLS . You will get it and I want you to get it. Truth is I like your company on runs, I am just not a fan of arguing through my breathing.  You have to be in a good place in your mind when running, if you can find it you can kill the miles. It is literally the best stress relief EVER.  That moment when you find and cross the line between  giving up from mental and physical exhaustion, and convincing yourself you have done enough it's OK to go home is marvelous. Strength vs weakness.

As the lumineers play through our house, the girls chatting with each other from the living room and knowing we have a fun filled day together I feel like a lucky Momma. Being with my girls is my happy place.
