We had a few new owl's join our family today! Devan bought herself a Great Horn Owl, and Ry bought herself a Snowy Owl. This owl obsession is so cute, I have to admit I love it.
We went to see Devan's kindergarten teacher today, Ms. McKechnie. Devan talked about seeing her all morning. Ms. Mckechnie made quite the impression on Devan, her teaching style fit Devan really well. Ryleigh decided to come along too, we met at the Friendship school where Ms. McKechnie will be teaching this year. The school is very small (compared to Warren school) It has a lot of character though. I kind of wish my girls went to a small school, there is going to be three, first grade classes this year in Warren. It still amazes me how many kids live in the small town. Ms. McKechnie bought the girls some books, they each got a Frog and Toad book and an Amelia Bedelia book. Devan also received a book about baby owls. Of course she loves it! This will help us get even closer to our goal for the end of the summer. We are taking a trip to the movies if the girls reach their goal.
