We are pro's now

So this is the girls 4th Halloween. They were butterflies on their first Halloween, Monkeys on their second, Witches on their third and this year they are going to be Woody and Jessie from Toy Story.

This is the first year they have shown interest in picking out their own costume. Devan knew right off she wanted to be Woody. She loves him. Ry went along with the idea to be Jessie.

Halloween keeps getting more and more fun each year. I love that you guys are super excited this year and are totally into it. I also love and appreciate that you like Halloween, your Dad hated it he begged his dressed up mom who also loves Halloween to take him home, he was not begging for candy. So most of all I love that you love Halloween.

My beautiful butterflies. You girls were so cute you just stared at each other.

LOL someone does not look happy.

High lights in the sun.

So this summer has come to an end it was short and sweet but we managed to have a lot of fun. Here are some highlights from this past summer.

One of our favorite things was swimming in auntie Karen's pool. The girls have never really been super brave in the water so I was proud this year when they floated around using rings and armies. We finished out the summer a little braver then we started the girls now just use the arm floaties.

We had a lot of fun playing with the girls cousins Brady and Julian this summer on a play date. We set up all the toys and the kids had a ball. It was so much fun to see them all playing together.

Julian looking so cute, and spider man was a hit that day. This is Ry with her territorial don't take my toy face.

Running in the sprinkler

Poor spider man.

Brady Bear in the pool

Julian playing with the sand and water table. What a cutie

LOL sorry Brady I had to use this one.

Juli Bean playing with his car

Juli Bean again

All set up waiting for our guest

On the 4th of July we went to the parade then the park then home to play ball. It was a fun day and again we got to see family.

We had a blast at Sesame Place in PA. Chris and I planned a trip with the girls before they started school. It was a really fun family vacation.

We went to the park lots!

This summer was a lot of fun, the girls were so much more grown up then last summer. The best thing about having two little girls is I will always have two best friends.

Once again its a new nephew

Julian Ryan Anderson

I remember hanging out with my best friend and always saying we were like sisters. I think it is every girls dream that your best friend really was your sister. Crystal aka Britt and I have had many memories, My favorite times with you are when we laughed so hard it hurt. But there are a couple memories that stand out more then any. My favorite, the day you married my big brother, my Bud my best pal growing up. Sean and I were inseparable, he taught me correctly how to build a sturdy lego house, how to get into trouble now and then, and the most important what it was like to have a big brother.

Another favorite that ties for first place, is the day my little Nephew Julian was born. I remember looking at him and seeing Sean so much, it brought back lots of memories. Julian was so cute, I waited all day to see him but it was well worth it.

Julian and I didn't get to spend as much time together when he was little where I had the girls, they are two years apart. I would come over and visit you but it wasn't the same as it was when Brady was little and I could have him all to myself. I loved showing Brady off I was so proud of him. The girls started pre school in September which opened up a whole new window of opportunity. I get the one on one I have always wanted with Julian. Julians first sleep over was canceled because his mommy said that being pregnant she could not leave him if he cried when she left. He had spent the whole day with us and was going home with his mom and would come back the next morning for another day while his mommy was working... that's what we thought. Julian refused to go home with his mommy. He wanted to stay and have some fun lol. We had a lot of fun. The girls went to school the next day for 4 hours and I got to hang out with Julian. I love and appreciate the time I had to bond with Julian.

Julian is a silly little boy... all boy, he loves to get dirty and play out side. He is quite a talker too. Getting to spend so much time with him made me realize how fast he is growing up. I love you so much Juli Bean. You have a sibling on the way that we are going to soon find out if it is a boy or a girl. Deep down I want it to be a girl. It would remind me so much of when Sean and I were little. I know you are going to be an awesome big brother Julian. :)

A tribute to the little man who stole my heart first on March 28th 2004

This post is a tribute to my nephew Brayden Richard Bartlett

Brady was huge almost 9 pounds born on March 28th 2004
He had tons of blonde hair.
He was born to my big sister Sarah
and stole his aunties heart right away.

I am sad sometimes when I think of all the time I spent with Brady before the girls.
Brady is such a cutie and super smart.
When he was first born my sister and I called him Gossie because he looked
so much like the little Gosling in the childrens book Gossie

Brady is now almost 5, where has the time gone?
He cries every time his mommy leaves him with me
which breaks my heart because I am his auntie, I feel like
I let him down bringing twins into this world just
10 months after his birth.

Two playmates right Brady, lol maybe someday.
I think its the girls crazy giggles and girlie whines
is what intimidates you.
We see a quick hug between you sometimes though
which melts our hearts.

Brady you are such a big boy now, I am so proud of you. You have come so far,
the world is yours to conquer and I know you will. You are so smart. I love that you come up to me and have me hug you in my arms and squeeze you over and over. I love our silly little games we play that make you giggle.
I have been there for a lot of your firsts Brady and plan on being here for a lot more.
I love you so much Brady Bear.

Fall Traditions

I love the feeling of fall ... well not the actual cold feeling but the smells, colors, traditions, baking, and knowing we are on our way to another holiday season.

Some of our traditions are apple picking, which we did this year with my sister Sarah and my cute as can be nephew Brayden aka Brady Bear.

My girlies

Me, Brady, Ry and Dev

Another Tradition is heading to the pumpkin patch for some more picking traditions. We go with the girls Nanny Chris's mom to pick pumpkins every year. Its funny at the pumpkin patch they have a picture of the girls hanging up from last year in their dresses and long sleeved shirts. This year they were bundled, wearing long johns, hats, scarfs and a winter coat. lol I hope this is not a sign of what this winter is going to be like.

The girls and I love to bake on the would rather be home then out visiting and to cold to go outside days. Some of our favorites so far this year are Banana Bread, apple crisp, apple sauce, cookies, and or course it doesn't take any cooking but makes a huge mess monkey munch.

Another tradition that is more your and Daddy's is jumping in the leaves. When Mommy you and Nanny were at the pumpkin patch Daddy raked 3 big piles of leaves for you to jump in.

A tradition started for our family when you were still in my belly, I was 8 months along at a pumpkin carving party hosted by your Grammy Kate. Auntie Sarah painted my belly as a pumpkin. You guys were so cute. I passed the torch down to My best friend/sister in law Crystal when she was pregnant with my nephew Julian.
