Bittersweet

I have been a STAHM for the last 4 years and it is coming to an end. I start work on Monday as a Medical Assistant in a small physicians office. I am excited to start work but I am a little apprehensive. I am most looking forward to what opportunities working will bring for our family.
Here is a look back of the last 4 years being of home with the girls.
I can't believe how fast they are growing.
8 Months old

1 year... this was the first time I left them for more then a few minutes. Awww they sat waiting with their binkies and blankies for me to come get them. When Ryleigh was a baby she would squeeze her fist open and shut when she wanted to be picked up. She started this very early. When I came in the house she was squeezing her little fist a million miles an hour.

2 Years we were in our new house!

3 Years at the fair.

3 years

Almost 4

4 years, thank you Ryleigh and Devan for being so wonderful. At times you test my patience. but I love you with all my heart. Even though I am not going to be with you all the time I will be thinking of you a lot and will miss you.
Love always Mommy.

My little girl is a tomboy at heart.

So Devan is the most cuddly loving little girl but bring out the dress up clothes and she will pick a super hero every time. In this picture she is with her best friend from pre school Cameron. After two days of going to school together Cameron told his mom he was going to marry Devan but she could live with him too. So cute puppy love.... well at least until her sister became cooler then her to Cameron on the play ground then we had some drama.

Here is my little princess Devan AKA Bat Woman

More pictures of little Sophia

I think it is safe to say that the girls adore their new cousin. They have had babies around before that they have not given the time of day... I guess a year in between can make a big difference or maybe there is something about Sophia that they just love... I know I love her sooo much but that is pretty easy. She is a cutie pie. Here are some pictures of the girls and Sophia that melt my heart.

Easter

We had an eventful Easter weekend. Saturday we started at a friends house who had an egg hunt for the girls. Next we went to what Ryleigh refers to as " the most awesome Easter Bunny party ever" 1000 eggs hid, 50 kids, prizes, 250 eggs to dye, little BO peep and the Bunny himself. Needless to say it was a blast! Ryleigh happened to win a stuffed lamb... she freaked we all know how obsessed she is with her little lamb aka Ovejita (like the lamb on Sesame street. I wish I would have got her face when she got her prize it was priceless. Devan won a jump rope that sang... and it sang the whole hour ride home.
